Sampling Saturday to be held Nov. 15

Sampling Saturday will be held at Chapters in downtown Galax 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15.

During Sampling Saturday the store offers free food and wine tastings, and unveils new winter and Christmas decorations, clothing and accessories, toys, books, and more. 

Visit with Meadow Creek Dairy and sample award-winning cheese.

Throughout the day, sample a selection of delicious appetizers, drinks, and desserts. Enjoy a variety of breakfast, lunch, and dinner items appropriate for family gatherings and holiday entertaining. Grab free recipes and sip on hot apple cider  while staff help you with all holiday shopping. Pre-order or reserve this year’s bestselling books or favorite classics to share with family and friends. Chapters, located at 101 E. Grayson St. in downtown Galax, is the area’s only independent bookstore. It’s also a boutique and wine shop, offering a unique selection of clothing, jewelry, wine and beer, specialty foods, and adult and children’s gifts.
