Crocus Malbec
Description:
Crocus Malbec is an elegant and terroir-driven expression of Malbec that bridges Old World structure with New World richness. Crafted with precision and a deep respect for its origin, it highlights freshness, minerality, and refined power rather than overt heaviness. Sophisticated and food-friendly, it pairs beautifully with grilled lamb, duck breast, mushroom risotto, charcuterie, or semi-aged cheeses, while offering enough complexity to be enjoyed on its own.

Origin:
Crocus Malbec is produced by Crocus Wines in Cahors, France. The region is considered the historic birthplace of Malbec (locally known as Auxerrois), characterized by limestone-rich soils and a temperate climate influenced by the Lot River. These conditions contribute to the wine’s natural structure, freshness, and mineral complexity, resulting in a refined and authentic expression of Cahors terroir.
